From thrilling competitions to school programs, new initiatives, and unforgettable club events, this term has shown the strength, passion, and momentum of our diving family.
Our divers have challenged themselves, our coaches have inspired, and our members have continued to support one another both on and off the boards. The energy around the club has been incredible and it only continues to grow.
With 2025 coming to a close, we’re excited to shift our focus toward a huge summer period and an ambitious lineup for 2026. Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s dive into the highlights, celebrate our successes, and look forward to an exciting year to come! |
🏆 Bradshaw Tilbrook Wrap-Up: Yellow Team Takes the Win!
The 2025 Bradshaw Tilbrook Competition delivered everything we love about this event—energy, team spirit, and a touch of friendly rivalry. After a day filled with impressive dives and plenty of cheering from the stands, it was the Yellow Team who secured the overall win for 2025!
One of the highlights of the day was a four way dive off, where tensions rose and excitement peaked as our finalists went head to head. The dive off showcased some of the most polished dives of the meet, with athletes demonstrating composure and skill under pressure. Congratulations to all who took part, your courage and sportsmanship were outstanding.
A big thank you goes to our volunteers, coaches, officials, and supporters who helped make the day such a success. We can’t wait to see what next year’s competition brings! |

📚 Making a Splash: Primary Schools Dive Into the HPC Experience
Over the past few weeks, Diving WA has proudly welcomed a wave of excited young students as part of our Primary School Visit Program. Schools from across the metro area and even several from regional WA have been travelling to the High Performance Centre (HPC) to experience diving for the very first time.
Armed with curiosity, courage, and plenty of energy, students stepped onto the pool deck ready to try something new. Under the guidance of our experienced coaches, they learned the basics of diving, from safe entry techniques to simple jumps and progressions that build confidence in and out of the water. For many students, this was their first introduction to the sport—and the smiles said it all.
What made this year’s program extra special was the participation of regional schools who made the long drive to Perth specifically to take part. Their commitment to giving students access to new sporting opportunities is truly commendable. Watching country kids light up as they climbed the boards, tried new skills, and cheered each other on was a highlight for our entire coaching team.
These school visits play an important role in:
-
Introducing children to diving in a safe, supportive environment
-
Encouraging physical confidence and resilience
-
Strengthening connections between Diving WA, schools, and communities
-
Showcasing the HPC as a hub for development and fun
We extend our thanks to all participating schools, teachers, and parent helpers who made the visits possible. We look forward to welcoming even more students in 2026 as we continue building pathways that spark a lifelong love of movement, water, and sport.
If your school is interested in visiting the HPC next year, keep an eye on our upcoming program announcements!
