Diving Australia Coaching Accreditation and Responsibilities

Diving Australia is responsible for the education, development, and accreditation of springboard and platform diving coaches across the country. All accredited coaches must be registered members of both Diving Australia and their respective state diving association.

As part of their accreditation, coaches are required to:

  • Complete Diving Australia's Child Safe Education
  • Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Adhere to the Diving Australia Member Protection Policy and the Coach’s Code of Ethics Agreement

Coaches are expected to uphold safe coaching practices at all times. Any breaches of safety or child protection protocols will be investigated and may result in the suspension or cancellation of accreditation.
