Diving WA Junior State Championship Plus National Qualifier

Diving WA's Junior State Championship serves as a final qualifying event for the Australian Junior Championships 1-4 October in Melbourne VIC.  The Age and Open Qualifier serves as a qualifying opportunity for the 2027 National Championships.  We will also offer our popular Learn to Dive Challenge and State Skills - Water event.  Something for everyone!

• Junior State Championship - will include Prelims and Finals for all individual events

Divers can enter providing they have the correct number of dives to satisfy the event requirements. Divers will only be eligible to use this event as a National Qualifier if they are registered as a Competitive Diver, meet the event requirements and achieve the prescribed qualifying score at this event.

DWA Meets are open to divers from all of our programs, providing opportunities to experience competition for the first time, continue developing skills, try new dives, and qualify for or improve scores toward National Championships.

Late Entries will incur a late fee - Late Entries close Monday 31st August 2026.

If you are unsure of your dives for these events, or which event to enter please discuss with your coaches.

Note: For the state skills event divers are able to compete as a GUEST in the incorrect age group. For example a 12 year old who is newer to diving and currently does not have the dive requirements to compete in the 12/13 state skills or 12/13 age qualifier can compete in the 8/9 Years state skills events as a GUEST. They will NOT be able to qualify for the national skills final and will not be eligible to receive a medal.

Dive sheets must be submitted on DiveRecorder by end of day on Wednesday 2nd September 2026.
