Following the successful completion of our recent culture workshops with DWA coaches and administration staff, Diving WA is proud to introduce a renewed set of Values that will guide our community into the future. These Values capture the behaviours and standards we aspire to uphold at every level of the sport from grassroots participation through to high-performance excellence.

Our renewed Values are:

Respect – for Self, Environment, and Community.
We respect ourselves by striving to be our best, respect our environment by caring for the spaces and facilities we share, and respect our community by supporting and uplifting each other.

Empowerment – through Courage, Confidence, and Ownership.
Empowerment means having the courage to step up to challenges, the confidence to believe in ourselves and others, and the ownership to take responsibility for our actions and growth.

Excellence – in Preparation, Commitment, and Mindset.
Excellence is achieved by preparing with intent, committing to our goals, and maintaining a positive mindset that drives performance and resilience.

These values form the cultural foundation for Diving WA, shaping how we interact, train, compete, and represent our sport.

Supporting this, our Vision and Mission remain central to the Strategic Plan and set the direction for where we are heading as an organisation:

Diving is a sport of choice for West Australians.

Increase participation and success in the sport, while developing Diving WA to become a Diving Australia High Performance Pillar.
