Published Mon 07 Jul 2025

Diving fans and aspiring athletes are in for a rare treat this July as the Great Britain Diving Team touches down in Perth for an intensive training camp at the High Performance Centre (HPC), Mount Claremont.

From July 14 to 21, the elite athletes will be conducting open water training sessions twice daily, with the public invited to attend select sessions for free. Training will take place from 10:00–11:30 AM and 2:30–4:00 PM each day, giving local spectators a chance to watch Olympic and World Championship-level divers in action.

All spectators are welcome on July 19 and 20, with Diving WA encouraging the community to come and witness world-class preparation in a world-class facility. These sessions offer a unique window into the high-performance environment of one of the world's premier diving programs.

The HPC in Mount Claremont, located at 100 Stephenson Avenue, will host the team as they fine-tune their routines in the lead-up to key international competitions. For young athletes and coaches, the open sessions provide a rare opportunity to learn from the best and be inspired by the intensity, focus, and precision of world-class diving.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to engage with high-performance sport,” said a spokesperson for Diving WA. “We’re thrilled to host such an accomplished international team right here in Perth.”
