Join Our Team — Marketing & Events Coordinator (Part-Time)

Are you passionate about sport, community engagement, and creating memorable experiences? Diving WA is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing & Events Coordinator to help shape the future of diving in Western Australia.

As the recognised State Sporting Association for Olympic and Commonwealth Games Diving in WA, Diving WA plays a critical role in athlete development, grassroots growth, and community outreach. Based at Perth HPC in Mount Claremont, this exciting 12-month contract position (with opportunites to extend) offers a flexible, part-time opportunity to work within a passionate, high-performance sport environment.

📝 About the Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging marketing and communications strategies across digital and traditional platforms, promoting programs, and building community awareness. Alongside this, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of events ranging from local competitions and community activations to major athlete tours.

You’ll work directly with the CEO, alongside a volunteer workforce, and liaise with stakeholders including Diving Australia, sponsors, and government partners to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns
• Managing content across social media and the Diving WA website
• Planning and delivering events, tours, and development programs
• Coordinating volunteers and ensuring event compliance and success
• Supporting sponsor and partner activations

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience in sport marketing or event management
• Strong communication and digital media skills
• Creativity and initiative
• Excellent organisation and time management
• A collaborative, hands-on approach to team and community engagement

Experience within the sporting industry and knowledge of the not-for-profit environment will be highly regarded.

💼 Position Details

• Contract: 12 Months (with opportunities to extend)
• Hours: Part-Time (20 hours/week) with some weekend availability
• Location: Perth HPC, Mount Claremont
• Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience (Approx $30,000pa + superannuation)
