COVID-19 Update â€“ 11.5.20

On Sunday, the State Government released further information regarding the easing of restrictions from Monday 18th May. We are waiting for more information from VenuesWest regarding what this potentially means for the dive pool at HBF Stadium. Once we receive further information, we will update members.

COVID-19 Update â€“ 27.4.20

â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹It has been just over a month now since training was suspended due to COVID-19. These have been difficult and trying times and we continue to wish all our members and families well. 2020 National Age Qualifiers

The 2020 Australian Age Diving Championships was scheduled to start yesterday, but was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19. Diving WA would like to recognise and congratulate those that qualified during the season to compete at the championships.

COVID-19 Update - 22.3.20 - Training Suspended

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced further restrictions and closures of facilities to control the spread of COVID-19, which includes indoor sporting facilities, from midday tomorrow (Monday 23rd March 2020). This will see all TRAINING SUSPENDED in the dive pool and dryland at HBF Stadium from this time until further notice.

COVID-19 Update - 20.3.20

The Prime Minister announced today further tightening of the social distancing rules for gatherings of less than 100 people. The rule is now 4 square metres (2m long, 2m wide) distancing for every person, effective immediately.

COVID-19 Update - 19.3.20

At last nightâ€™s Board Meeting we made the decision to POSTPONE this weekendâ€™s Level 1 Coaching Course to a later date (TBD) and CANCEL the DWA Meet #1 which was scheduled for the 28th/29th March. The health and safety of our members is our highest priority.

Diving Australia Announcement - 2020 Age Championships Cancelled

Diving Australia has today made the decision to cancel the 2020 Age Diving Championships. Whilst on one hand this was a very difficult decision, the ever-evolving and ongoing impact of the COVID-19 virus meant we had little choice. Any entries to date will be refunded in full.
