WELCOME BACK

We hope all our members and families enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable break over Christmas and New Year, spending time with loved ones and returning refreshed and ready for the year ahead. As we kick off the new season, it’s been wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces back on pool deck.

The holiday period was an incredibly positive one for Diving WA, highlighted by four successful weeks of our Holiday Splash program. Across the program, participants of all ages had the opportunity to stay active, build water confidence, and develop foundational diving skills in a fun and supportive environment. The energy and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved made the program a standout success, and we loved welcoming so many new families to our diving community.

In addition, holiday training at St Mary’s allowed our competitive athletes to maintain consistency and focus during the break. These sessions provided valuable training time, skill refinement, and a strong lead-in to the upcoming term, ensuring athletes were well prepared to return to regular training.

A big thank you goes to our coaches and staff who gave up part of their holiday period to deliver high-quality programs and create such a positive experience for all participants. Your dedication continues to play a vital role in the growth and success of diving in WA.

With the holiday programs now complete and the new year underway, we’re excited about what lies ahead in 2026. We look forward to building on this momentum and supporting our athletes at every stage of their diving journey throughout the year.

NEW LOCATIONS
  NEW LOC

Diving WA is excited to announce the addition of two new training locations, expanding our programs and making diving more accessible than ever across Western Australia. From this term, programs will now be offered at Claremont Aquatic Centre and Bligoman Aquatic Centre, marking an exciting step forward in the continued growth of diving in WA.

The introduction of these new venues allows Diving WA to reach more communities and provide greater opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities to get involved in the sport. Both Claremont and Bligoman Aquatic Centres offer excellent facilities that support a safe, fun, and progressive learning environment for our divers.

At Claremont Aquatic Centre, participants can expect structured sessions designed to build water confidence, fundamental skills, and a strong introduction to diving. Bligoman Aquatic Centre will further strengthen our program offerings, giving families in surrounding areas the chance to access quality coaching closer to home.

These new locations will offer a range of programs, including Learn to Dive as well as Adults and Teens sessions, catering to beginners through to those looking to develop their skills further. As always, our experienced and accredited coaching team will lead sessions, ensuring safety, enjoyment, and skill development remain at the heart of every program.

We’re thrilled to be working alongside both aquatic centres and look forward to welcoming new and returning divers to these venues. This expansion reflects Diving WA’s commitment to growing the sport, supporting our community, and creating more pathways for people to discover the excitement of diving.

👉 Registrations and free trial sessions are now available at Claremont and Bligoman Aquatic Centres.
